The cookies are crunchy, dee-lish, and so easy to make. My grandkids especially like them with chocolate chips added before they’re baked. I like to add chopped Southern pecans and walnuts, which remind me of growing up in South Carolina. We knew that when the tree blossoms fell, that’s when the pecans would start growing. As kids, we would go shake the branches and little blossoms, hoping the pecans would come sooner!
